im looking in to getting the spindle lift for my taco, im 2wd, and i was wondering if anyone out there has them installed and has pros and cons about them. Or there anything else i would need to install, like UCA's or ball joints or shocks or sumthin. And im also gona throw somthin in the back so theres no extreme sag, bascily if anyone has them installed lemme kno what u think of them, any insight would be great.

search, been covered a ton, there are even a few install threads.

you will need longer brakelines. other than that, everything swaps over. you might have to grind down the welds near the calipers, FYI...not sure if they have fixed that yet? also, ensure you have a torque wrench and tourqe all the bolts properly and again after like 500 miles or so.

i personally am running the camburgs and DR coilovers at ~1" up front, and OME leafs out back. i am 25" from center of the hubs to the bottom of the fenders F/R. ride is amazing! wish i had gotten them sooner, but money always dictates that!

nice set up, so does that mean u have 5in of lift in the front? i have the tools i just need to get some breaklines and i think i will place the order, do u think my stock shocks will be fine or do u think i should upgrade those too, im also gona end up buying some AAl for the rear so its not much of a sag, thanks for the reponse.

yep, ~5 in front. shocks will be just like they are now, so if your good w/ the ride, then no reason to upgrade them. even w/ the aal, you'll probably be a little "bro high" upfront...

yea i want it kinda even, if its like an inch higher in front no problem, anything higher than that up front i might wana figure sumthin else for the rear. kinda off subject but i really like how u change the lights with led in the gauge cluster, looks awsome even the radio too, im interested in that also, r u still working on them if i were to drive out to u, im out in santa clarita so its not too far, members like u is what make this place so great. props to u dude

yep, still doing the LED clusters...check out the link in my sig for more info (i can have you in/out in about an hour for the cluster). i also have a few radios in the for sale forum here that i would mod and then send to you, so no downtime.

There aren't really any draw backs from using spindles for a lift...you get to maintain your factory ride and compents :)

I wanna get the 4" Camburg spindles in the future or LT :notsure:
