Seen quite a Few ppl go from TC to SPC. Ive narrowed it down to these 3 UCA but not sure what to go with. Looking for some input on ppl what are running these 3 UCA and why they prefer them then these other UCA.

The SPC requires less maintenance and won’t be as squeaky due them being ball joints. The TC’s are uni ball and for heavy or fast serious off-roading. Require more cleaning (every couple thousand miles). YMMV.

I run SPC just for ease of maintenance...if you use these get the upgrade ball joint. The ball joint you see pictured is the old style and won’t take a lot of abuse with big tires other than that they are great. TC’s uniball has issues in my experience with the offset spacer coming into contact with the race squaring it off which leads to suspension noises that will drive you nuts it more of a race only application imo. Have no experience with Camburg.

I’m a 2nd gen but should be similar for 3rd gen. I am running TC but if I coukd do it over, I would choose spc and here is why:
My tc arms were designed for like 2-3” lift. My truck only has like .5-1” lift. The problem with this is, with my large tires they rub a lot more because the arm has built in caster for a higher lift. If I had the spc arms I would be able to get rid of some of my rubbing.

Another point for the spc is the simplicity of the balljoins. Uniballs are kind of annoying with the maintenance they need. When my TCs need to be rebuilt (uniball/bushings) I will probably sell them and switch to spc arms.

SPC or JBA. More adjustability with SPC though.

Uniballs are suited more for people that really go hard with their truck, aside from that I think most people buy them for the look. But they require a lot more maintenance and are prone to make noises unlike the SPCs.

You don't buy a truck for its fucking fenders!
    2.5" lift w/35's
I have TC uniballs. I also have about a 2.5-3" lift and I offroad my truck a lot. As long as you clean and lubricate the uniballs every couple of months they are awesome. Haven't had any issues with them at all.

Have you considered Dobinson's? They are supposed to be maintenance free like OEM. The T4R guys love them. I'm considering Dobinson's myself after reading the reviews. I'm not a wrencher so these look appealing.

Me as well, love that you can change the Ball Joint out in the driveway without taking the whole arm off.

Look at Icon delta joints also. They also have a billet aluminum one also with even more adjustment.

Can you clarify any details about the upgraded ball joint? Got some SPCs I bought back in June and it's my understanding that there's an old and new style to the joint, which is what I assume you're talking about.

I've had DirtKing ball joint UCA on my truck for two years. I probably have put less than 5000 miles of street driving on them. They've been good as far as I can tell. The rubber boots are starting to wear, I was thinking it's because of the elements UV light, or the angle. My front seemed a little higher than it should. This would be a ball joint issue. There could be issues that I have overlooked FWIW.

I noticed DirtKing has changed their BJ arms somewhat. They also have some nice LCA on their IG.

JBA for a normal style ball joint or TC if you want a uniball.

Ask @wilson704 and @ajohnson their opinion of SPC’s.

I went with Camburgs on my 2nd gen because I wanted a ball joint, but didn’t trust any of the shops around me at the time to be able to figure out how to set the SPCs right.
