Confusing to some. Not all. Might try and read the posts, in this thread, from the person you quoted.

Increasing caster at the UCA, means moving the wheel back. Toward the cab mount and rear wheel well.

For large tires, caster should be gained by moving the LCA away from the cab mount. That's why SPC UCA is the best in this department, it has near unlimited caster and camber adjustability.

I formerly apologize for not having read more carefully.

Would you happen to know a shop in SoCal who knows how to adjust them? I’m in the process of upgrading to a larger size tire and Dobinsons suspension. The SPCs are the only ones I’d consider but I’m worried that the run-off-the-mill alignment shop won’t know how to adjust them.

Well, some here would recommend me. I've lifted about 100 Tacoma/4runners at this point. I work at a shop in Huntington, I do alignments there. You could bring it there.

Or 88 rotors, RPM garage, Sibi built, etc could get you dialed in for tire clearance and alignment.

I'm curious about everything you said in regards to offset. Is all that true with 0 offset or even -10, or is it in regards to stock which is +25 offset?

I'll stray away from the topic of suspension geometry and let the more seasoned guys continue.. lol

I'm running King's 2.5 EXT's. With that, I'm running Camburg UCA's with the x joint so no uniball on mine. What I like about them is that they're sealed units.
Additionally, I have their dust cap which keeps dirt out. (I think newer Camburg UCA w/ uniball have options for dust caps as well.. Someone correct me if i'm wrong on this)
Uniballs aren't bad though, just need to keep up with maintenance and keep them clean. I'm running them on my FJ Cruiser and have and any issues or squeaks for the past 3 years of having them on.
