Bilstein 5100's all around with OME 885s in front . 265/75/16. 5k hid, Fog 3k. Anytime fog light mod. Grillecraft upper and lower. Firestone airbags. Daystar Cradles. Illuminated 4x4 switch. Scan Guage II. LR UCA.
wondering how hard or easy it is to just buy the camburg UCA without the ball joints already pre pressed in. I have a actually press here at work and also a ball joint press kit. It would be with the moog ball joints

Those UCAs are made to fit a FACTORY Balljoint. So if you are trying to press a moog ball joint in, you will need to machine it down to make it fit in the arm without damaging it.

No we do not machine moog balljoints, we recommend you either use your stock balljoint, or find a shop that will machine those aftermarket balljoints to fit in the arm. There is also one of our dealers, Wheelers Offroad that sells our arm with balljoints already pressed in. I would check them out.

that's where I was looking and where I have bought all my lift from. So how are they able to press the moog ball joints in without machine down the joint. I work at a Toyota dealership so im just curious to how hard it really can be when wheelers already sells them already pre installed

They are machining the balljoints down, all aftermarket balljoints are inconsistently produced which make them larger than the stock balljoints. The MOOG balljoints specifically, have ridges around the balljoint that you have to machine down to smooth to fit in our ucas. Do NOT try and force press an aftermarket balljoint into our uca without machining it down a little first.

Sorry to high jack this thread but I'm looking at Camburg UCAs and the Fox Racing 2.5 Factory Kit you guys offer and it says wheels with max 4.5 back spacing. Well the wheels I want are 17x9 with 1mm offset and 5" back spacing. I wanna run 255/80R17 tires. Are the wheels going to rub on the UCAs or what?

Yes, with that backspacing it does not give much room, so there will be rubbing. The size of the wheel doesn't matter as much as the actual backspacing. That determines how far in the wheel will sit. You can run those but you will either have to live with rubbing or run a wheel spacer. Or of course get a wheel with no more than 4.5" backspacing :)

4.5" BS here. That's really about as much as you are going to want to run, it's also probably the BS that most out there would recommend on this truck if you are not going LT.

Alright. Good to know. What is it that rubs by the way? The tire or the wheel? I have no rubbing issues with this Backspacing now but I also run 255s. I like the fuel wheels but they all seem to be 5" Backspacing. No 4.5s

It's mainly the tire. I have never had an issue with the wheel itself rubbing but then again I have a second gen. You might want to check measurements and find out if 5" BS will be ok if you are dead set on getting a set of the fuel wheels.
