Can you explain why your not a fan? Just curious cuz I like hearing other people opinions. Looking over now what dirt king UCAs has to offer vs JBA.

Dirt king started making a ball joint arm also.

Get ahold of @motoxscott and he’ll hook you up with Camburg’s Arms. Maintenance is even easier when there isn’t much to do! Pop a cap, grease.

    Sure.

I personally consider the "chevy" type of ball joint used here, inferior. In their typical application, chevy OE ball joints are riveted in. One of the few ball joints that requires the use of a grinder to grind off rivet heads.....for a ball joint...cause it will never fail or need replaced, so lets rivet that right in. Then, to make up for the rivets with a replacement, you get 4 bolts.

4 smaller bolts hold your spindle/wheel to your truck. More parts, more potential for failure. One loose nut. Bolts rust. Bolts bend. Bolts shear. Not what I particularly want in my offroad UCA/Spindle set up.

I'm going to second this. Love my JBAs. They give you great travel and are significantly cheaper than TC. Not trying to bad mouth TC at all. I've heard they are great too. IMG_20170305_175027572.jpg

It's a matter of opinion and choice so, no use arguing.

It's a lazy, half assed, cheaped out design of a ball joint.

And yes, rivets do a play role...IT'S THE ENTIRE REASON FOR THE 4 BOLTS. DERP.

JBA could have used the same idea...and used only 2 bolts, some 12 or 14mm bolts. 1 per side of the BJ with the bolts being much beefier than the little bolts used.

I think the JBA UCA is cheap personally. Weld a flat piece of metal between 2 tubes and slap a Chebby BJ on it. DONE! Blah.

Oh no, I cleaned the hell out of them. I think was just a combo of them being new and some super dusty areas I was in.

Hmmmmmm like the AZ. Desert? Or Moab area ? Or Mohave road and surrounding areas ?
Because my Camburgs played there and still no squeaks, grinds or other objectionable noise’s :).
Crap, I wonder if you just got a pair that didn’t like the dirt ???
I thought they saved those for the Mall krawlers with the 6” lifts lol !!!
    Kidding...

I was able to find uniball replacements for about $50 /each through off-road warehouse. Don't have to pay the ridiculous price TC is asking for them. Still fk stainless with ptfe liner.

Grease-able ball joints are what you want if you live in a wet/cold climate where they salt the roads. Uniballs don't last for any time in Canada.

SPC arms have sealed ball joints and rubber isolated bushing joints (no polyurethane), and on top of that they are adjustable. Seem like a no brainer to me...

Plus they are fully forged, which is awesome.
