Okay cool! Don't know any guys up there. And yes man I understand completely. Everyone told me to skip Mid since you'd end up spending more money by doing that, then wanting more, thus getting LT haha.

To answer some of the questions, I personally would go with King as far as suspension. As I'm sure a lot would agree.

The rear a lot of guys run spacers to meet the front end/ which goes either way in some people heads. I've heard more negative about spacers up front. But usually if you're gonna build the rear end nicely and go straight to links you could get a 9" and that would have your width in the rear out far enough to not look "odd". But that depends on how far you're gonna go with LT.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Gotta love the fellas with 3.5" over front end on stock rear

This as well! It's a hard decision so I hear. Deciding do I want to cut my frame in half and rebuild the complete rear end with a fuel cell, tool box, tires, oooorr do I want a simple clean bed cage with bed saver. Do I want leafs, or go to links? What length shocks am I gonna want. There's so much that goes into it it's annoying but cool haha

Which is why I was always told to do the rear end first. People usually don't because they want "the look" which was me at 18 when I went LT haha. Performance should be the main goal. Not looking cool as far as LT. But if you have badass performance it's gonna look cool.

Was just about to ask about this. I read about leaf shock something or other. 12in with a bed cage in the rear?

Fuel cell means you can't register it anymore on public roads. I would think about spring under axle kits like DMZ if you are going for max travel. I wanted to save money for other things so I'm going to go with a kit that doesn't get as much travel and uses the stock spring mounts. It'll offset the cost for things I want like a rear locker and a nice Pelfreybilt bumper with a winch.

This is exactly what I have been thinking. Most likely just a bed cage with 12in shocks and leafs.. I think

This! The DMZ kit is the shit! You can get the leafs with it too! I would run 16"s if I got that kit.

If you get a bed cage you'll be able to go with 16" shocks.

Nice that's the bumper I want. Looks like you're truck is setup pretty well already. I also want to keep the bed intact since I sleep in it with my camper shell and use it a lot for carrying equipment. I'll search up a couple build threads that seem like they'd be helpful for you to read. What kind of things do you want to do with your truck?

And would that be with the DMZ kit? Or without? Can you run a bed cage + the dmz?

I wheel almost every weekend. I want to fit 35s. Re-geared with 4.88. I want to do Moab, rubicon, and bits of fordyce. But also be able to have some desert fun :D With the bed cage I am planning on building a custom bed rack to fit a cvt tent to sleep in as well.

Man that is one badass DCSB in NorCal! Supercharged and all! Mine is a 6spd as well so it should make it a bit more fun in the desert :). I would have been ordering things if my tranny + clutch didn't decide to go out last week

Ouch. The manual trans definitely makes things more fun. My four banger feels fun with my 5 speed even if it's as fast as it's going to ever be and its still slow lol.

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
Keep in mind there is a ton of little by the ways, mods and gussets that you need to think about if your goin for the long travel thing.... boxing the frame, shock tower brace body mounts, core support mounts, engine mounts etc. there's an easy 1k into all the little stuff.
If you go for s new rear axle, expect to shell out 5k. And if you are having a shop build stuff for you, please make sure they know what they're doing.

Man I've been looking and drooling over your thread as well as your instagram for days! Such a beautiful truck man. Especially because you did it all your self. I wasn't planning on a rear axle for now, but eventually.. You built your lcas and ucas correct?

Yeah haha. But, Toyota is putting in brand new tranny and clutch and resurfaced flywheel with a Toyota certified warranty. Will be worth it.
