Just retired a 30 year old Coleman 424.
It was doing some.weird things even after working on it. Not only would it lose pressure, but also somehow lose all the fuel without seeing it dripping anywhere. Weird.
Replaced it with a 414 which is slightly bigger for our fry pan for canoe camping trips and the extra 4000 BTU's. Love the dual fuel stoves.
Will also be used for car camping and also it's our main unit for cooking outside of our little 16 foot camper.
The old one had thousands of hours on it.

    Thank you!

We’ve actually changed our set up again

I managed to snag a fridge for close to nothing, so we build a platform and drawer inside the truck and we’re cooking on the tailgate again. Trying to come up with a better solution for the stove though.

My actual favorite part of camping is cooking —- especially breakfast. Actually anything food related is my favorite........

I found this Coleman on FB Marketplace. The older couple was moving and was cleaning out their closet and bought it 14 years ago and forgot about it.....

I like the Coleman Instastart I have. It does the job. I’ll probably upgrade to a Camp Chef Rainier or a Eureka due to the Coleman’s inability to regulate the burner. It’s on or it’s not despite there being a knob.

I have so many grills. I like my Campshef 14" bbq box combo grill. I should have gotten the pro. I use this as my at-home and overland/car camp grill for bigger groups. otherwise, I have a camp chef everst dual burner. its flame adjust is top-notch. It's a bit bulky. Colemans are still great grills and more compact than other brands. For lightweight/backpacking, I have a multifuel Primus.

I second the black stone. Uses the small coleman propane cans flip the top upside down and its take up little space.

Man, y'all are FANCY campers! I chuck a cast iron in the fire. Get the cheap ones from Walmart/etc (I have "nice" lodge pans for home use). I am getting used to it, but I am starting to pre-cook my stuff and chuck it in the cooler vacuum sealed. Cut open, toss in pan, finish cook (potatoes)/heat, and enjoy!

Lift, sliders, skids & some other stuff.
Love the old white gas Colemans. We had one when I was a kid and one time when we were going camping it flew off the top of the station wagon on the highway. I was in the rear facing seat in the back so got to watch the whole thing. The stove cartwheeled down the highway and came to rest on the shoulder. Dad turned around and retrieved it. When we got to camp he hammered out the dents and it worked great, and for many camping trips to come. I currently use a Coleman propane 2 burner, and a compact Cuisinart propane grill for camp cooking,

I like to be lightweight, I guess. It's cool and all, and probably (definitely) much more enjoyable than cold hot dogs. For me it's not about speed it's about packing 2 things and taking up a much smaller footprint. Add firewood, all set!

Just picked up this for an upcoming Thanksgiving camping trip. Haven't taken it out of the box yet but will report back with a review:

Also bought the conversion pipe for a 25lb propane jug.
