Just sold my a-liner. Had it for 3 years and absolutely loved it. Towed like a dream. Just out grew it for what we wanted to do with the family.

At 6'3" I loved being able to stand up, even if not all the way. Can't do that in an rpod. One thing I would look at and consider is what the speed rating is for the tires. Especially out west where you can drive so much faster.

Having spent a lot of time looking at both models, both are premium brands and I think you would enjoy either one of them

    I drive a Miata.
    Between the two, A Liner.

They tow like a popup. I've watched several people level, unhitch, and pitch theirs in under 5 minutes. Meanwhile it takes me 30 to do the same in my ol' canvas hut.

The only downside to Aliners are that if you took a ratio of usable cubic footage to exterior dimensions, they are not the best. But they excel at everything else.

Meanwhile, RPods have only marginal gains in elbow room (apples to apples frame length) but none of the foldability.

Know what else I like about a folding trailer? They fit in a garage.

Meanwhile, there's a lot to hate about a pop-up, but two things absolutely sold me on their primitive charm: one, walkin around room. Two, humongous windows on every wall that open up for full 360 degree airflow.

If you're not prepared to get quite that weird however, stick with the Aliner. They're cool.
