Has anyone done this option? Obviously the pic isn’t a Tacoma but looks like a cheaper alternative to getting 2 roof racks and is sturdy.616370F1-9CCA-4288-A25B-E977306004B1.jpg

Cool ! Good luck in your search. If you decide you want a FG one instead, I'll make you a good deal on a tan ARE MX. LOL

Haha man if you hadn't mentioned alucab I would have jumped on your deal. Whereabouts are you in socal? I just emailed adventure ready as well since they're on the westcoast. They really need to setup manufacturing in the US tho, this shipping from South Africa is crazy

Hahaha... screwed myself, huh. Well, everyone has their own ideas and needs. What I really want is a pop up like the Alucab expedition tent that is connected to the shell. The habitat is cool, but flipping limits roof storage.

I live in Orange. How about you ?

Man, if i had my way i would get something w/ a tent up top and accessibility from the bed/canopy. That would be ideal like what @Iggy is doing and the Hondo Garage (GFC) setup. I just can't or dont know how to justify 5k for that kind of setup.

I'm out in Eastvale (north of Corona) and work in Irvine.

I hear you. This is an amazingly expensive "hobby". I've already dropped WAY more than I ever thought I would on mods and still have plans to put a lot more into it. I'm hoping to retire in 5 years and overland at least a several months a year.

Thanks! That’s an old photo. I’m getting ready to load the rack down soon. ARB 2500 awning, roadshower 4, rotopax fuel 2.5 & 2 gal water, TRED 800, and Plano 42” case. Hoping to have the Prinsu load panels by Friday but CBI/UPS says Monday.

Any chance you'd make and sell me a molle panel for the inside like yours for a 2nd gen Taco?

Those are Yakama Racks acquired at REI. 58" The gutters were put on by the canopy dealer. They're Yakama gutters.

I'm looking to get this set up!
The cab installation looks fairly easy since I don't have an OEM rail and there's video tutorials.

How hard was it to install on your camper shell?
    I don't have a rail there either

It’s pretty easy to install, took about an hour or so. I would semi loosely put everything on the ground first and tighten it up once you get on the cap it’s just tightening everything up.

I have a snug top and Yakima tracks in it that bow outwards a bit and the provided mounting feet are completely flat. There are really good options to get alternative feet on the PRINSU vendor channel.

Btw you missed out on a flash sale from prinsu today from noon to 2pm MST.

If you don’t have a rail, you’ll have to drill into the cap. I have no idea how to do that.
