I have a TRD OR 6'box. Cab top 38" above the bed. Will a cab high shell give me 36" of clearance or do I need to go to a high line cap to get that?

I have the short box, but probably shouldn't matter. I have a Leer 100XL. The bed has those ridges and the ceiling of the cap isn't flat (most of the middle is about .5" thicker than the edges) and I have the roof rack and the screw covers for that extend down about 1/4in. From the top of the bed ridges to the middle of the thick center section is 35.5in. Depending on what you're trying to fit in, or build in, the opening is 31.5in tall.
