Camper shell door rattling

Any solutions to creating a tighter fit. Noisy and rattles when driving.

 

Adjust the latch/latches

 

Is there a curtain way to tighten them? I noticed a plastic cylinder piece around one side and not the other.

 

Adjusting them really depends on what kind of latch/latches they are.

Post some pics.

 

Stick on weatherstrip?

 

Are you sure it's not the notorious loose bed bolt letting the bed rattle up and down?

 

It seems more like the latch. I can manually move it and make some noise

 

Move the striker bars in. There should be some adjustment slots just inside

 

Stuff the exhaust with dynamite and light it.

My Leer rattled until I adjusted the strikers.

 

Google your brand... most have instructions online for making adjustments. Alot of times it's just a matter of snugging up loose fasteners.
