Not too bad. I got a 4 wire trailer harness with quick disconnect and spliced into the wires behind driver brake light and ran it into the bed. Have 2 wires used for 3rd brake light, and 2 wires free for when i want to install a dome light. The disconnect is very nice for taking the top off. Search on here for the correct wires to splice into, plenty of threads about it.

Yeah it seems like it. Volcom's black one has a black and red wire in the rear left, and my MGM one has some kind of wiring harness with disconnect. I watched a couple youtube videos of them patching into the lights for power. I'm going to call my snugtop vendor to ask if that's their disconnect. If it is, I can probably buy the wire I need for cheap... hopefully.

I just wired my cap. It was really easy. I bought the matching trailer quick connect at Autozone. I pulled the driver side tail light and used some tee splices followed by silicone and black taped them up.

    green w/red trace = brake

green = parking lamp (used for dome light)

White with black stripe = you can use this for the ground

I did the same thing when I wanted a topper, wasnt sure I'd like it enough to have it on permanently so didnt want to overpay or buy new. I watched CS for like a month and grabbed this for $500. I have since realized by German Shorthairs love it so it stays on all year round.

Very tempting. I've been looking on CL for months.. Is the shell you're selling, the same shell that are in the pictures. Like same model? I know the one you are selling is black.

Sold the black one to a TW member with a superwhite dcsb 4wd OR. The black looked pretty good on it because of all the black trim.
