CAmper shell sizing

I have found a camper shell on craigslist that fits a 1994 single cab toyota pickup with a standard 6ft bed. I have a 1999 single cab tacoma with a standard 6 ft bed. Do you think the 94 shell will fit the 99.

 

I think they're the same bed size, but ask if you can go and test fit it.

Go to the website of a shell company and see if the shell that fits the old PU is the same as the 1st gen Tacoma. I say no. the cabs have different profiles even if the bed dimensions are the same.

 

Yes, it will fit the bed and should fit against the cab.

I have a snugtop from a toyota pickup and it fits pretty close to perfect on my 01 Xtra cab.

 

What is the bed dimensions of the 99 Tacoma Xtra cab 2wd? I can't find it from a simple search.


I am trying to find the dimensions so that I can know what to ask of the camper shells that I see on craigslist. I do not know which dimensions shell will fit my Tacoma.
