Hey TW plug this link in and see what you think!! I was reading through a bunch of posts here from our members because I am ready to add more weight to my camper shell and was considering a Thule or Yakima system when I found this. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:GROUPBUY:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

    Interesting.

However, when trying to search my vehicle, Tacoma doesn't come up.

Tried that as well. That product doesn't come up (at least when searching my Tacoma's year).

My guess is that it would be too expensive for them to either R&D or not worth it for a vehicle that, I assume, is rare there.

Sub'd none the less as I have been looking into something.

I sent an email to them requesting to know if they had a distributor here in the U.S. a few hours ago. They probably wont get back for a day or two but we'll see what happens.

I am interested. Sub'd as well. Looks like a great solution for adding a tent to a cap. Cheers

It looks easy enough to make it another project for DIY time... just have to find the time, sometime.

Seems like it would make more sense to have a full hoop, especially on a truck like the Tacoma with weak bedsides. You'd definitely want to add bedside braces i.e At The Helm to help keep the bed from spreading. Honestly it shouldn't be hard to fabricate some braces specific to your truck, the difficulty is in making them adjustable to fit a wide range of designs like they've done.

Agreed, something similar, or better could be made here easily.

I screen shotted a few pictures months ago but can’t seem to find the others I found. This would be very easy to duplicate. Going from the Tacoma rail system to the to of the shell would be the way I would do it. Most of the mount would be on the lip of the shell and held in place by the T slot that works in the rails so all the weight wouldn’t be only on the rails. Kind of the way those guys did it posted by the OP.
