I have a 2013 Dual Cab with a short bed. I was offered a great deal on a camper shell but it is going to come off a 2001 Dual Cab Short Bed. The bed measurements aren't exactly the same, but look close enough that it would still fit. Has anyone had any experiences using 1st Gen caps on a 2nd Gen Tacoma?

    Thanks in advance!

Won't work, unless you don't care about fitment whatsoever and just want a shell.

You might get some caps to bolt on, but it'll look awful and probably not be weatherproof. Depending on the exact cap it probably won't work at all.
