I called my sister today and asked her to get this for me. I'm not 100% sure if she did or not though.

I used to have it and man let me tell you, I miss it. I've been looking everywhere for a good priced one. That particular one has the windor on the driver's side too. It's exactly like my old one minus the color.

i have leer a camper shell (stored, and currently on craigslist) and when i was running it on my 01 prerunner 3rz, my acceleration & mpg was very noticeably lower. but it is a great way to add contained cubic footage and mount a roof rack and lights though!
(if there is anyone in the greater milwaukee/southeastern wisconsin area looking for a cap in great condition for a 1st gen 6ft bed, pm me and let me know!)

FYI, I think the guy miss typed when he said Extended cab cause he went on to type 4 door. That means it'll be a tad too short for those extended cab owners...

I have the exact same cap and its pretty nice. You will lose ~1MPG with it on...

I'm not sure why those guys said you'd loose milage. With mine I gained a little over 1.5 MPG when I had it on. That was with a 31" spare and four 6" PIAA grabbing wind...

I have one on my extra cab. I typically see a lose of 1mpg with it on.

Sorry, I was confused because your sig has an extended cab truck (do you have two trucks?). Only Extra cab trucks have 4 doors (at least that's what I thought :notsure:).

Anyways, judging from the pic, that cap looks a bit too short for an extended cab.

no extra cab is the 2 door cab with the small back seats and long bed. a double cab on the other hand has 4 doors with big back seats and short bed

I love the topper. Provides some protection of gear, etc and it actually increased my MPG by almost 2 MPG.

Unless you drive with your tailgate down (with no topper) then you will see an increase in fuel economy
