Camper top

Looking for a camper top for my 99 standard cab. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks

Facebook marketplace. Took me a couple months to find what I was looking for. Vary your search terms and be patient. Like “Toyota camper shell”, “leer camper shell Toyota”, Toyota truck topper”, ARI Toyota camper shell”. Also helps to learn what the camper looks like for a regular cab because 90% of sellers don’t know what they have or post measurements. A Leer camper side window behind the cab will not be parallel to the front edge of camper cover on a regular cab cover. Front edge of cover there will only have slight angle, more vertical. See mine below. If window is parallel (and cover is right dimensions) then it’s probably for an extended cab. Will fit bed but will rub third brake light or top of back of cab on regular cab. There are a ton of extended cab campers out there. Regular cab seemed to be less frequent finds. 76.5”x60” is what you are looking for. Good luck and be willing to drive to get it when you find one. I drove 160 miles one way to get mine for $200. Color matched and paint is better than 95%. A heck of a find in my opinion.

 

THat, for sure. I know it’s a hard to find because of all of those same details. A guy from a FB forum posted one yesterday sitting on my exact truck but after he made the post he refuses to respond. Lol. Usually its the buyers who ghost people on marketplace not the seller. ‍♂️

 

I bought it for my 2000 extended cab and then learned they were different so I found the right one for mine and don't need the standard one. Black one is straight against the cab and the white one is angled with the cab.

I live in Oregon just outside of salem. I would let it go for what I have in it. $250, I put a new handle and key on it. It needs a paint job. looks good from 10 feet. no cracks just some scuffs and scratches.

 

Shoot I would definitely do that price. The problem is that you’re 31 hours away from me. ‍♂️
