    Hi,im new to tacoma world i. Looking to put a camper topper on my truck but want to keep my tailgate on and closed..its a short bed 5.5ft...anyone know which would be a good choice?

    I've put a leer fiberglass topper on the back of mine. It works well, very simple and easy for me to work with.

    I can send you the full details if you'd like, but it came with roof racks to, soom im going to put a kayak/canoe rack on top.

    It has a carpeted headliner for condensation, and bug nets on the sliding windows. The windows are tinted, but not enough for privacy at night if youve got a light on, so im going to make some curtains soon.

    Ah i getcha, ive thought of the same, but here (vancouver island) the prices are insane right now so I'm gonna wait till things chill out. From my limited experience, you may find it tough to find something that will fit on the short bed with the tailgate closed, but I'm new to this.
