The very best 2-man (also 4-man model) is a Eureka Timberline. It is a free standing, very waterproof, durable, no-frills tent. You can also get a front "annex" for it for a bit more storage room. I have had 2 of these tents. I would still have my original from the 80's if it had been properly staked to the ground. I loaned it to some Girl Scouts. A tremendous wind storm blew it into a barbed wire fence and shredded it.

Awesome tent, with 100's of positive reviews....check it out, think it is what you are looking for!

I really like my LL Bean 4 season model. The problem is that they don't make it any more. :pout:

I have an older model of Eureka free standing in a 3-season as well, but it's a heavy unit. Very quick and simple to put up, but too heavy to backpack anywhere.

I use one of these at home. I use a drip machine to heat up the water for it. Same water temp, same coffee...tastes better out of an Aeropress than the drip machine.

I'm at home today and I only had a couple of the cards in my wallet - the first that PM'ed get those ones. But I have a huge pile on my desk at work, everybody else will get them tomorrow when I'm back at my desk.

    I'm a bad camper....so ashamed of myself....
just went out to do inventory on my gear (heading out this weekend) and found trash in my fire bucket/trash bin that I never threw out AND I never cleaned up my camp chef grill after the last trip either!

Well, due to the generosity of SalmonTaco and his discount, I ordered an MSR Hubba Hubba NX and footprint!

I'm pretty excited for it. Thanks again, Salmon!

Says that orders over $100 get free shipping, but it's charging me shipping? Is there a promo code or something I need to enter?

I checked with the ecommerce folks just now, apparently the 40% off negates the free shipping deal.

Yeah it does say that on the bottom of the page. I "only" paid like $12 in shipping. Nothing compared to the $170 I saved elsewhere.

Oh well. No biggie, the shipping's only $10. I'll pay $10 for 40%, lol.

I was thinking $125 shipped. I do not have a footprint. Can get more pictures later but here's a few. Would include 6 MSR Groundhog stakes.
