I'll post a review at some point. I got the 65qt version - closest interior dims to my current cooler and I jam pack it for a 3 day trip. It's a little larger overall but I have room in Runner so I'm Not worried.

6'2"x26" so it is close. Was hoping someone had one and can confirm if it fits or not.

I haven't seen them be mentioned in here before and didn't know about that brand until that tent thread earlier, so chances are slim.

Spent 9 days sailing around the Maldives this last weekish. Never once slept in my bunk. I always slept on the deck with my hammock except for 1 night had two foam mats pushed together with someone else.

Scored on four 15"W x 11.5"H x 24" L totes that fit perfectly under my cot (only use in the Spike Tent) and picked up some 5/8" wide hose clamps to secure stove pipe sections together along with a nice rain cap with screen for spark arrestor.

Need a new filter, preferably something that I can buy off of Amazon Prime. I know that the Sawyer mini was talked about earlier, does anyone have any other recommendations?

Main uses: filtering water for camelbaks and nalgene bottles from creeks / streams while out hiking.

    Thanks in advance.

I second the hiker pro & steripen. Never had any problems with mine. I don't even bother packing water when I camp any more; just filter it as I go.

Lifestraw makes a water bottle with an integrated filter you might want to look at for day trips. Wouldn't help with filling up a camelbak though.

I have used a Platypus GravityWorks lots of times. You can fill a hydration reservoir or bottle (basically whatever if you get creative). It works awesome - you just scoop up a big bag of dirty water and let gravity do the work back at camp. No hanging out at the mosquito farm sucking/pumping water.

I have Katadyn Hiker Pro, MSR mini works, and both the Sawyer gravity feed and mini.

hiker pro too heavy to backpack with any more. It's in my go-bag for when SHTF.

If I know I'm camping at or near reliable sources, I take the gravity feed Sawyer.

Otherwise I just use the Mini. Which is almost always.

I chose the Sawyer over the Platy based on lifetime costs. (New unit, filter replacement, number of gallons per filter...)

I wonder if they actually test the filter to the 100,000 gallon mark that they claim.

Went ahead and ordered the mini. I already have an extra camelbak reservoir or 3 sitting around, will use one for a dirty bag and hook the gravity feed to a clean 3L bag
