Round cordage is fine for hanging on a mechanical fixture (eye bolts, carabiner, roof rack...) but round cordage is horrible to use on trees. It will cut the bark and it it's cut any significant circumference it will kill the tree.

Its not heavy. I have an ENO double with their webbing straps and I have taken mine all over the world in my bag. Unless you are a super UL person its not bad and doesn't take up much space.

I have a RTT but I'm going to be going camping with a large group this summer and utilizing a ground tent in addition to the RTT.

Do you guys recommend any cots?

I bought an RTIC 65. It was backordered until the end of May, ordered it at the beginning of April and got my shipping confirmation today!

I held the position that I'd try an RTIC once they caught up with production. Now that they have almost, I realize I have a Yeti in each size RTIC offers. Guess there's no need.

My kokopelli packraft came in this morning. 12lbs, 2 person or 1 person, and fits into my North Face duffle. The build quality is great.

Not sure if anyone is interested or in the market, but just went to my local Sport Chalet to check out their fire sale and saw that they have a shit ton of Igloo Sportsmen coolers. They're only doing 20% as of now (which is still really good). Most people that were their are looking for $20 picks and walking right passed the big ticket items. I'll be watching them and if they go down any more I might be picking one up to upgrade my current cheapo cooler.

Let us know your thoughts on the RTIC. Ive been looking at the Yeti mid-size coolers but the RTIC is so appealing because of the price.
