Water tight seal by oring in the removable lid. The lid comes with its own rim to put on the bucket.
I have friends that use them when river running.

I use those screw on lids for feed and seed storage. Pretty good as a scent blocker as the squirrels haven't figured out what's in them yet.

Picked this little guy up today. According to the manufacturer model number it was produced between 1965 and 1969. Looks pretty damn good for 50 years old I'd say!

Thinking of a possible mid-April roadtrip. Either 4/7-4/16 or 4/14-23. I live in Dallas-Fort Worth. There's lots of stuff in Utah I'd like to go back and explore, but any other suggestions?

It's a bit early for Colorado (and I may go there in June for a bit anyway) and California, and even the higher elevations in Utah like Bryce are still a bit cold, but that doesn't really bother me.

    Any suggestions?

Nice. I still have the one my dad passed down to me. The leather plunger cup in the primer can dry out, in case you don't know. Even though it takes up a ton of storage space and I have other better stoves now, I just can't give it up.

They are great. I have a s^!tload of stoves. I mean a lot. Stoves from the early 1900's. Burners, incomplete stoves, from the late 1800's.
Along with a few I bring along for fun.... For car camping I use my 413E, used to be a 413G, sold it, and a Heinze-Geniol Dieselkocher.
The 413E has extendable legs that drop down from the case. The wind screen holder isn't as good as the "G".
The Dieselkocher is about a ft square. A huge single burner kerosene stove. NATO had them for the cold war in the 80's.

Oh yeah, this is what I did to make the baskets compatible on my Bison cooler.

    Oh no, they don't fit!

    IMG_1346.jpg

    Wait. I have an idea.

    IMG_1347.jpg IMG_1349.jpg

    Voila!!!

    IMG_1351.jpg

If it's stupid, but it works......

They were very cheap pieces and I don't think they're coated, so if they start to rust I will upgrade them or just use cutting board material most likely. I am going camping this weekend so I wanted to test the idea out and it worked.

My very first was a Hennessy that Tom Hennessy gave me to field test. He was one of the first to Market camping hammocks. Good product. But after several years he turned into a total dick. I promptly sold everything I had of his.

WB is great stuff. As is a lot of the hammock gear out there.
