If I got that organized, it would only last a few weeks, if that. Is this a good place for pics of your garage?

 

Whats a good trail for a quick overnight backpacking trip in Joshua tree? I was looking at maybe just doing Boy Scout trail hiking about 2 miles in on Friday night.

Anyone have recommendations for a good backpacking spot in the sierras with good fishing? well, big fish.

 

I like Mono Hot Springs, of Kaiser Pass Road.

Get a permit and hike in to Garnet Lake near Mammoth. It's a half day hike in, and you could set up basecamp and fish there the same day and also go over to Thousand Island Lake. I caught quite a few nice 14+ inch brookies out of Garnet on just spinners. Great camp spot on the southeast shore just across from the little island over there.

Evening before Forrester Pass

From Forrester looking south into the Kern River Basin. We did a side day trip into the lake south America area to the southwest. I don't recall seeing another soul that day until we returned to camp on the JMT at whatever that rangers station is.
