Yes, but it was a little sketchy for a second. It was a little slick too. The GF wasn't liking that part since she was the one looking downhill. Glad I had a locking diff. Otherwise, I would've had to back down that bitch.

EDIT: A front locker could be my next big purchase (probably next summer, or the next).

I don't have enough experience to say for sure. Maybe a driver with better skills and a spotter could negotiate that spot without a rear locker. The rest of the trail (the part I saw) I think is doable. You could always come in from the Cisco Grove side, which is probably what I'll do next time if I have the family and dogs.

She did fine! It was those MT's you used to have. Everyone was sliding. My pizza cutters and compression braking did the trick.

Signal Peak was fun yesterday. Still a ton of snow up there as well as the route over to the peak was blocked off. I also might have taken a wrong turn.

Not enough to have a build thread.
just got back from what I've been told is the Fordyce trail, or at least the precursor to it. We made it about 20 min from the river. Very fun. Sliders got a workout. Skids will need to be my next purchase.

Wow, looks like a blast! I thought there would be snow there. Isn't signal peak and fordyce right near each other? Did you run out of time or did the trail get a little big?

Yes. There's a fork. To the right goes up the fun way to Signal Peak. To the left takes you to Eagle Lakes and Fordyce.

Can't wait to be out there again. Here are some images of the campground. This site(if available) is big enough to hold around 10 rigs and it has beach.
