    Hey guys,
New to the forum. Planning a trip with my lady to hike pikes peak co. Hoping to get some suggestions about good trails to camp off of near that area. Thanks and looking forward to use/contribute to the forum.

Rampart Range Road (CO 300) isn't too far from Pikes Peak. You can actually see the toll road from parts of Rampart Range Road. There are lots of places to pull off and camp, little dead end roads, and camp sites. There are also several other trails that you branch off of Rampart Range Road, one of my favorites is Mt. Herman Rd (CO 320), and there are plenty of places to camp off of that one as well. Then you could just drive down the Rampart Range Road into the back side of Garden of the Gods Park and in to Manitou Springs to hike Pikes Peak. If you are planning on hiking the other side you would be heading to Woodland Park, and it is also easily accessible from Rampart Range Road.
