    These are the best for long camping, but hell they're so expensive. I have a tent for the bed and its great, compact, and cheap! If you have a grand to spend then get the roof top tent. If you don't mind sacrificing a little room then get the bed tents, they're only a couple hundred dollars.

    Taking everything out of the bed to set up a bed tent seems like it would be a huge pain in the ass if your only camping somewhere overnight.

    I also don't see much of a benefit to them other then keeping your tent off the ground/mud in wet weather. That's something that could be solved by laying down a tarp underneath where you're going to setup a tent first though.
