    Cleburne State Park: Camped there Easter Weekend 2014--Nice and quaint little park, cool pond to paddle in, great trails, close to DFW and definitely worth a visit!

    Camped Mineral Wells State Park in May 2014--Great little park, good sized lake to boat, nice trails to explore and close to DFW.

    East Loop at Lost Maples was quite the hike up, and even more so on the way down. Rains night before made for some slippery conditions and carrying an expensive camera makes one take very carefully planned steps. (That white line at bottom moving to the right and up is the trail, or at least about a mile of it) But what a view:

    It has enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids, plus the garage on the end with the camp toilet and gear storage.
