Bridge is still out. The bypass is a cake walk. I think they're beginning repair on it soon, so it's possible the road will be blocked way before you get to the bridge. There are alternate routes, but they take a little longer.

Your truck sounds pretty sweet. What's the 4.7 Taco Box? Is that a 4.7L V8?

It sounds like we have at least 6 extra hand helds floating around the group that's going. I have one you can borrow.

I'm 50/50 for having Friday off. If I'm off I'm heading up their Thursday after work if I can get out early enough. If I can pull that off. I'll meet you guys a the trail head or connect via Ham.

Taco box is a crawl box. Adds more gear reduction

I was up there a couple weeks ago and will likely be heading up there with my wife this weekend. Bridge is down but the bypass is fairly straightforward and not really an issue. 2wd no problem.

A Taco Box is a Crawl box made to mount in between the factory transmission and transfer case on a Tacoma. I have the 4.7 gears so I can use factory 2.56 low range or the 4.7 low range or use both and get a low range of 12.03:1.

Its what we call a dual case for a Tacoma. No more wheel spinning or hitting things fast or anything I just drive up to it and crawl over and up pretty much anything.

I'm almost there. Have a little shopping to to do. Have my dry food ready. Gonna make some breakfast burritos tonight. Need to mount some Yakima tracks on the shell. Getting a half cord of firewood delivered tomorrow and getting an alignment today.
