I have a 20 degree sleeping bag that keeps me pretty warm, but usually on the nights it gets super cold ill toss in a couple of hand warmers before I go to sleep and that usually keeps me pretty toasty. And they normally last all night too.

Sell your soul and switch to corporate. Weekends and paid holidays.
Hold out for as long as you can though. Once you’ve turned to the dark side there is no going back.

Ive been in it for 10 years and still adjusting.
There’s no way I would have lasted if I made the move in my twenties or earlier 30’s.

Food business is brutal especially right now. I am planning on selling both of my stores and getting the fuck out of this business. I can't find any employees who want to work. Been working from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm from last couple of weeks and I see no light at the end of the tunnel :(
I wouldn't mind going back to corporate and doing something Mon-Fri with benefits and paid time off.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
IDK what kind of pay or benefits you offer your employees but when I was managing some airport operations for car rental companies it was hard getting people to come to work or keep the job because of so much competition from the "on-demand" economy and tech stuff. Amazon and other third party companies offer 16+/hr. just to drive around and drop off packages (which is why we see some sketchy ass MFs dropping off stuff). Uber, DoorDash, Lyft, etc. etc. etc. gives those people that cant wake up for a shift at 6 AM to wake up whenever tf they want and just go to work.
