I'm in for that original weekend of the 9th. I have vacation days I need to use up so I may come up Friday morning or whenever everyone is getting there Friday. If not, ill probably roll in that Friday evening. If the date changes keep us posted.

Oh yeah. It's just going to be me. Wife said go have some fun/guy time. I'll be in tow with beer, water, milk and food. What's the pit situation out there? Little grills on the camp sites? Do we need to reserve some sites now? I'll throw some cash in to help get us spots reserved if need be.

If you're fine without electricity, no need to reserve a site. You can camp in area B. They have a few small pits. Hidden Falls has always had just a different vibe with me than off the grid camping spots or other parks like BMRA. Its more of a small fire buzzed experience than a "I've had more shots than I can count, who has the lighter fluid????" type of place haha.

I'm good with no electricity. However would like to be close to the group. I've never been to Hidden Falls and don't want to get my ass lost...lol.

On a side note...I've got most of the scratch's of the truck from our trip to General Sams with that FB group.

I'm down with that, string up a hammock grab a shiner and call it a night.

Last I checked and was one site open and it was only Friday night so area B it is.

Hidden Falls isn't a mad house like that shitty ass park. Good to hear you got most out though, Zeb was beyond pissed about that situation

Sounds like in area B we don't have to, I'll call tomorrow and see what they have and what it costs to camp there. It may be on their site also.

Me and him both!!! I'm just glad he was there. As I mentioned before, can't think that guy enough. I'll gladly buy him a beer next time I see him.

It's 15 a night, for primitive sites. Doesn't have a limit from what I can tell. I'll find out, worst case I'll reserve a couple and we can work it out

Ok. Keep me posted. I'd look at their site but I'm on my phone and it sucks for intaweb surfing. Just want to make sure if we do get that spot they are ok with a few of us posting up for the night in one site.

So if we show up Friday late morning-ish and post up on a few sites, can we keep them through the weekend?

Yeh, people there from what I've seen are respectful of stuff. Had two missing go Pro's on trails in my groups before and both have been returned to the front desk

Yeah they charge per vehicle per night it looks like. You just find a spot and go. Gotta check if it's an event weekend.

Here's a link to the primitive area.

I plan on getting there Friday late afternoon. Probably cut out of work early and head south out of DFW around lunch time that day.

I can make the 7th - 9th, don't live very far from the park but I haven't been lol. I have a stock prerunner with good tires and a decent driver haha. Always down to set up a hammock, talk trucks and drink some beer! What's the plan?
