Hey I have a busted cam gear on bank 1 intake side. Dealership quoted me 1650.00 to put in 2 new gears and the cam sensor I was pretty pissed but I got a quote from somewhere else for 600. Does anyone have a good part no. For the cam gears and cam sensor on a 2005 tacoma 4.0 liter. Where is the best place to buy genuine oem replacements? Thabks guys. This CEL needs to disappear.

Buy the parts from toyota or some toyota online store and take it to a respected auto tech for the repair. You can call toyota parts to get the part numbers and prices then do a internet search to see if you can find it cheaper. Just go with toyota OE parts for a problem like this. Shame you're not closer to MD. Also, how did the sensor and gear get busted?
