Other than checking the wiring the only way to verify correct cam sensor operation is with an oscilloscope.
I'd inspect the wiring closely especially right at the cam sensor connector, make sure it passes the tug test.
Both codes are for the bank 1 (passenger side) sensor.

Yes both say Bank 1 after I initially replaced both sensors the light went away and everything was good that lasted about 3 days great this is totally what I need right now thank you for the tips and as far as I'm able to see the wiring all looks fine at the sensor clip end any ideas on why it might still be giving me the same issues

Possibly a defective sensor, did you use OE sensors or aftermarket?

As stated above you will need an o-scope to properly check the signals going to the ECM, But you can verify the wiring is intact and sound with a meter, see below.

P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)

•Input voltage to ECM remains 0.3 V or less, or 4.7 V or higher for more than 5 seconds, when 2 or more seconds have elapsed after turning ignition switch ON (2 trip detection logic)
•No VVT sensor signal to ECM during cranking (1 trip detection logic)

P0343 - Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)

Output voltage of VVT sensor 4.7 V or more for 5 seconds (1 trip detection logic)

    Trouble Areas to investigate:

•Open or short in VVT sensor circuit
    •VVT sensor
    •Camshaft timing pulley
    •Jumped tooth of timing chain
    •ECM

    How to check wiring:

Check with an O-scope and Voltage at the sensors.

Keep an open mind and don't get tunnel vision on only an electrical issue.

It could be a mechanical issue with the timing pulley or timing chain....

Have you reset the ecu by pulling the relay or disconnecting the battery after installing new sensors?
Maybe you're picking up old codes.
