Hey all, I had some rats chew through my sensor wires and I thought it was a super simple fix until I pulled back the loom and found one yellow wire and 2 blue wires that were identical. Does anyone happen to have a wire diagram or know what wires should have voltage when the key is turned over? The code P0348 is displayed for the sensor.

    Thanks in advance

Pretty sure the one that will have 5v on it will go to Pin#3 on the connector. (VC wire)
That wire is the 5v reference wire I believe.
@Dm93 will know for sure. So we’ll wait and let him give us the OK:thumbsup:

I suppose a sure fire way to know, would be check continuity between pin #3 of the other cam sensor. (The other one only has 1 blue wire) But that’s more work.

I'm not sure if it's a pull up or pull down sensor, I'll check when I get time.

Ok @TnShooter is correct one of the blue wires will have 5v on it with the key on, the other will not.
The one with 5v (VC) will go to pin 3, the other one (VVL-) will go to pin 2 and the yellow wire (VVL+) will go to pin 1.
Just a note the Yellow wire will also have 5v on it as it is a pull down circuit.

    Thanks.

I was pretty sure it would have 5v.
I think we had a discussion on that VC wire at one time.

Yea the VC wire on Toyota's technically called Voltage Constant is the 5v supply for all the 5v sensors on the truck, it should always have 5v with the key on.

Thank you @Dm93 and @TnShooter that should be no problem. I appreciate it.
