I’m in the middle of installing the Sony XAV6000 kit I got from Trail Grid Pro. Everything was plug n play and works, except I can’t find the GPS cable behind the dash to plug into the head unit so I can’t use CarPlay.

Truck is a 2019 SR. Did some SRs come without GPS? I’ve never tried using the map in the Entune but I know my 2017 SR had it.

This is wire coming off the back of the head unit, but I’m not seeing the GPS cable that’s supposed to plug into it.

Sat radio and gps are square connectors. You need to buy maestro sat cable adapters

Gotcha. But even with the adapters, my problem is that I have no idea where they’re supposed to plug in on the truck itself.

Are there any square looking connectors, like that blue one, on the right side of the opening? Should be coming from the roof via the passenger side pillar.

This is the only one coming from the passenger side.

The connector does look different compare to SR5. Do you know what the original radio model was?

The original was the stock head unit.

Ok, I had the same radio + satellite module.
Let me check how I wired my headunit

    this is fm/am antenna connector.
looking at the service manual, looks like this type of radio does not have gps antenna. RA is antenna, R34 is backup camera

Thanks for that diagram. That wire coming from the passenger side seems to match the shape of the RA2/RA4 connection. There’s just no pin in one of them.

I realize your 2019 will not be the same as my 2021; but on my 2021 OR the AM/FM antenna goes to the shark fin on the roof plus the SAT or SDARS antenna, the navigation GPS antenna is on the underside of the dash as shown above.

I dug out the image of my headunit. The bottom left small square connector is GPS one.

Suggest you contact Trail Grid Pro Technical Support to discuss specifics. Supposed to be plug in and play, simple.

I think you don't have navigation antenna on your truck. Your options are to get OEM part # 86860-04030($$) or those cheap gps antennas for Toyota's, like Fakra brand. Some folk disassembled the connector and connect the cable directly and secure with a tape
