Can a 3" lift change your shift points?

I have a 2007 SR5 Double Cab w/ a long bed with 31,000 miles. I have yet to have any issues yet until now. I recently put a #3" ToyTec lift with front coils and rear blocks on the truck. I have yet to put new tires and wheels on it. Since my lift I have noticed a difference in the way it drives.

When driving at low to mid speeds around town I have noticed that my truck is no longer up-shifting when it should. Typically when you let off of the and then start to coast the RPM's will start to lower and it will up-shift. Ever since I have put my lift on I have noticed that it is no longer up-shifting so that I can coast. It is staying in the same gear and slowing the truck down. Anyone know what might be causing the change in the shift points?

The lift alone shouldn't change anything. Wonder if you are getting drag from binding CVs or Hubs/other driveline stuff? Does it seem to slow down quicker after a throttle let off?

You also might be having issues with the MAF, speed sensor, or something else... I am experiencing this myself.

You've changed the aerodynamics of the truck, which causes more drag and wind resistance, which can cause more engine load, no?

My truck is nose high and I didn't see any difference and that would cause way more drag then 3" all around. I doubt that is the issue.

Yeah I only seem to notice it after a throttle let off.. What has me baffled is that when I'm driving 60+ on the highway (already in overdrive) and I let off it coasts just fine. That's what leads me to believe something might be changing the shift point rather than binding.

MAF and speed sensor sound like possible issues after reading about symptoms. Probably just coincidental that it happened right when I installed the lift.
