Can a buyer MAKE me sell something to them legally?

No one ever asked you to give a fuck. That's irrelivant if you do or do not. You're adding un-necessarily to it as though, there were more that I wanted.

I wanted an opinion on the legal question and had to keep redirecting to that, numerous times. ;)

I've read this post a couple of times... I have no idea what you are trying to say.

    What tears did I shed?

Also... Makes you laugh to what? Time to what?

You asked your legal question on an internet forum about trucks. Based on your post count & join date, you've been around long enough to know EXACTLY what would happen, yet you act like WE'RE the assholes in this situation.

    Go scam somewhere else.

Dude, my post was for whoever left the rep, not your questions about legality. Legally there's nothing but frivilous waste of court time if the buyer guy chooses to push crap out of spite is where that is. All the morals, ethics, & keeping your word posts were all beside the point of your original question IMO. I'm not adding shit or assuming anything about your wants. 1-800-LAWYER FTW!

^^^ Don't be too hard on him... I think he's on our side in this. I took his comment to be against those who don't care about going back on their own word to make a buck.

Yep. Missed that but don't care. Still my opinion. (of course, you know what they say about opinions?) "They are like butt holes, everybody's got one."

5 bucks or 800 hundred bucks still not worth your integrity.

If you didnt have another buyer and he backed out you would be on here crying foul. that he said the deal was done. just something to think about.

I talked to a lawyer friend of mine b/c I was wondering about the accuracy of my initial assessment.

She said that it certainly sounds like a contract to her. She said that the UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) is generally the rule when it comes to the sale of goods, and that when multiple states are involved, the state where the goods are located usually governs over specifics.

Take a look at the UCC, Section 2 if you want to see the details. It looks like goods in excess of $500 require a written contract, but that can be as simple as an email with certain terms in it. I commented before about whether or not you two communicated via email, but I haven't read anything about it since then.

My friend literally said this to me at the end of our conversation:
I had to assure her that it wasn't about me.
