Can a lot Tacoma fit in a 08 Tacoma

    Toyota Tacoma - 2008 TRD Off Rd Package
    K&N Air Filter and TRD Exhaust
    What I'm asking is can I swap out my 2008 engine for a 2005 Tacoma engine from what I understand the 05 fits perfectly in an 08 Tacoma I have a TRD 5-speed standard transmission truck hopefully that pairs up

    Not an easy swap if you are going from a 2.7 cylinder to 4.0 but if you are talking same motor then yes. What's size and what's wrong with your current engine?
