Once my mom's mirror just fell off the windshield. My dad was going to fix it. He got some mirror glue and glued the metal piece to the windshield. He didn't realize it was upside down until it was too late. Mirror wouldn't work upside down so he just pulled it off. Pulled a chunk of windshield off with it. Thought you might be interested.

6'3 here and hate the rear view mirror position... Not so much at stop signs but especially when taking right hand corners. You have to move your head around to be able to see around the mirror as it blocks the line of sight. Back up mirror here, so the flip won't work for me.

I'm 6'3" and I don't seem to have a problem with it. I hear a lot of people complaining about it... I must have gotten used to my damn car when I had it and so now the Taco doesn't bother me at all

I'm 6'2" and I have the same problem! Horrible position for a rear view mirror but since I got the back up camera I guess I'm SOL.

ive never had a problem and im 6' 6"

then again i have a t100 with a 6" sunstrip on the windshield .... i test drove a few 1g tacos and they were small .... which was the reason my first truck was a 99 mazda (in addition to tacos being too expensive)

then mr farenheight (member here) changed my tbelt / water pump ... got in my truck to run it after putting new rad fluid in it and was kinda pissed when he realized how much more roomy my truck is than his tacos (hes had a 99 and has an 01 now) :D

I'm about 6'1". Never had an issue with the mirror. I keep the seatback somewhat reclined (3rd detent setting I think).

CAn I relate? No. I barely get what you're talking about.
It may be our hilly terrain and more or less lack of stop signs (in favor of lights) or the way I've got my double articulated glass swung all the way up.

I have no issue with the mirror's location. If I did, I would go down to napa and buy the glue and a second mount to glue to the window. Just leave the original on there and don't mess up your windshield.
