I can usually find my way around when it comes to most mechanical issues. But when it comes to bodywork I am a fish way out of water. The bad news is, I hit the front of my truck. Luckily there is not extensive damage. Put a crack in the front bumper cover. Also put a small crack in the big plastic piece that surrounds the grill. On the bright side, I have had an MBRP winch bumper that I have just been lazy and not had put on yet because I am nervous about cutting into the bumper. Seems it is now time to do it, and I will likely pay a shop to do it. I know I should take it to get it looked at and hopefully get an estimate but I am hoping I can get a few questions answered on here before I do. I would be greatly appreciative!

1.) What is the name of the part that surrounds the grill?
2.) Most of the damaged area will be removed after it is cut away for the new bumper, but part of the small crack under the headlight will still be there. Is that something that can be covered up with some sort of paste or something like that? I am not a perfectionist and won't mind if it's still there. I am just curious if there is some kind of "quick fix." Thanks again for any tips or help!IMG_0218.jpgIMG_0220.jpg

I glad u already have an aftermarket bumper so the funny guys can’t say “hey time for an off-road bumper”... Lol.

But yeah u will likely have to replace the broken exterior parts for the visual side of things. Paste or other methods may keep it together, but it will still b noticeable. The bumper cover is a definite and grille surround depends on how much the crack bugs u. I’m not a body shop guy by any means but there r plenty of parts available if u find a OE site and type in your info and look in the exterior section u should find most of the aesthetic things. Looks like your fog light is pretty pushed in so that may require a part or to to bring that to normal as well.

Between visually inspecting and find some parts blow-ups u should b able to figure it out. Looks pretty minimal at face value. Mainly just a few cosmetic parts. Hope u get it fixed man! Sorry it happened to ya.
