Can anyone confirm this regarding seats (bucket vs. 60/40)

I have questions and I need confirmed answers, not word of mouth.

I have a 2002 Reg cab with the sport bucket seat option.

I'm trying to convert to the regular cab 60/40 split seat option.

I noticed that Toyota sold 60/40 split in both regular cabs, extended cabs, and double cabs.

Can anyone confirm if the regular cab, extended cab, and double cab 60/40 split front seats are all the same seat?

If or if not, can anyone confirm if the extended cab or double cab will bolt into the regular cab without modification?

    Thanks!

You are good to go. Buckets and 60/40 used the same 4 mounting points per side. Bench seats used the outer two holes on each side. I swapped my buckets for a bench in my 96, bolted right up.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    X2.

On my past truck, an 88, I swapped from the bench to buckets, no problems.

EDIT: Ooops. Sorry, I didn't gave a gen1 Tacoma, mine was much older. So my experience is irrelevant here -sorry for not reading more carefully before posting.

What color are your bucket seats? I've been thinking about swapping out my 60/40 bench for bucket seats.
