Durrr, wished I had seen this before.

I still have my OE coils with the plates and everything. Need to get rid of them. Have 3" spacers installed as well.

Hey Ruben I will be there Sat. I can bring my jack (not the greatest, but will work) and some other small hand tools and a torque wrench. I hope 05sctaco can help you with the AAL because I have no clue. The front should be pretty straight forward.

Any idea what time we will be starting? I may need to pick up some 5100's I bought in Martinez either before or after, but we will see how the lift is going.

    Awesome.

I'll ask ken if he knows how to do an aal. I'm also waiting on Justin to see if he's coming through. He may be able to help with the rear.

I'm not sure what time to start I was thinking early. But we can adjust the time to something that can fit everyones preference.

What time would you like? I have the whole day set aside for this and the driveway all day. Hopefully the other guys chime in on what time is best.

Are you going to put the 5100's on that day? If so we can start after you pick them up.

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
I can help do the AAL if I'm able to go. It's pretty straight forward..just a little time consuming.

I'll find out tomorrow, gotta see if my buddy will have his Yota back together and if he wants to go..if not, we'll come out his his car. 38mpg ftmfw.

I don't care what time we start. Martinez is 1.5 hours from me so I wouldn't get to your place till 10 the earliest if I leave my house at 7:30. Otherwise I may get them after the fronts are done and you guys have started working on the rear. The front should take 1-1.5 hours tops since you have the coilovers all set up and I'm not too sure about the rear.

I doubt I will get the 5100's in because I have to get the struts re-compressed and that took forever last time. Plus I will be getting some more items at the end of the month that require an alignment, so I'll probably wait.

If Eric or somebody in that area was coming down, they could swoop the 5100s from Martinez..it's right DER by WC/Concord/Pinole area

^Yeah unfortunately I don't think anyone is. I might have one of them pick them up for me (granted they can) and hold onto them till they make it down this way as I won't need them for at least a few weeks. I'm pumped though because I got a pair of brand new 5100's for $100. Wasn't planning on buying them yet, but I couldn't pass on that deal.

I thought a drop bracket lift was what did yours??

"diff drop" and "drop bracket" are two different things.

it still drops the diff down..

    causing less clearanc..

unless "drop bracket" is referring to carrier bearing drop bracket.

    it's still gay as fuck

i can fix it..i'm just so lazy because I have to take apart the ENTIRE suspension pretty much. i just been driving it how it is..alignment is nasty far as steering but tire wear is fine lol.

edit: now i see what you mean..

it's the spacers that diff drops are referring too

    whatever fuck drop brackets period.
    i'm going straight axle LULZ.

Yeah let me know. How long does an aal usually take? What time would you guys be able to make if you do get to come out?

I'll see what time everyone else would like to do it.
