I can split the cost of gas with SC since you'll be helping us both out.

I could do the $20 since it will cost me that much in gas and time. Let me know Eric, so I can let the guy know who will be picking them up.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/31118-how-install-add-leaf-w-pics.html

Get a few cans of brake clean for the leafs is there as muddy as in the pics. I got some grease, but it's your call on what you want between the leafs. I'll bring my floor jacks, and it looks like we'll need come clamps. I'll need to make a list of what i should bring. Ov's tool box, torque wrench, stands, a jack, dual purpose chair bucket, i can bring my grinder too if you need to cut the bolt like in the pics, Dremel???, $50 in ones for the titty bar....... j/k. I'm not sure what all tools i'll need to bring. But i'll just bring what i think is need. Also if you can get a few rolls of shop towel/paper towers. Nothing fancy, just stuff to absorb the brake clean.

Thats a good write up. Helps to give an idea of what to expect. thanks

I don't think my truck has ever seen anything but pavement. But i'll grab a can of brake cleaner.

If you can bring your floor jack that would be good. Mine has issues. I have a 9v impact... not sure if that is sufficient. But yeah if you can bring your tools that would be great.

I will pick up some shop towels and a C-clamp. Not sure where i can get a centering pin... Anyone know?

Any 4WD parts store will have one. Just get the longest one so you don't have to worry about not having enough, it will be hacked.

Kragen or Vatozone will have them too.... but you have to know the size, which hopefully someoen will help me out but I believe its 3/8ths

just measure the length from top to botton of leaf, add an inch 1/2. If you need to know the sixe, just measure the bolt. I'll bring some clamps, i just need to find them........ As long as i have a torque wrench i'm all good. If that don't work i have the BFH method.

Just looked. the center pins come with the aal. I'll measure them when I get home. They should be sufficient.

Let me know if you find those clamps. Thanks ken.

The AAL should be pretty easy just make sure you have at least two C clamps. When are you doing this lift? I have a few C clamps, spring compressors, air tools, etc...

Wasn't sure the clocking of the bolt pattern for the top plate... So hopefully it goes in.

It sucks not having my truck.

^How far is that from San Jose? I may be down, but it depends on when we get done with the lift.
