    Anybody familiar with these speakers?
    The Brand is Image Dynamics.
CTX-65CS Component set. Mids, Tweeters, and crossovers.
They are supposedly a legit 100 watts rms with good sound.
    I already have a Pioneer H/U.
Of course I will need an Amp, I was thinking a Pioneer GM-A5602.

i've heard good things about that component set. i was very close to getting a set for my wife's car, but then she turned against the idea of upgrading her speakers because we are going to be getting a new car fairly soon. i would not hesitate to buy these. i've read of good mid bass and very clear vocals. 93 db efficiency is pretty good, too. they should scream without much power.

the price is now $230? when i was shopping these for my wife they were less than $160. wonder what happened?

I have these. They sound good. Better than stock, but highs are not real crisp and it sounds a tad muffled. They are loud if you put enough power to them.

I wasn't real happy with the sound, so I replaced them with Image Dynamics CXS line. Sounds MUCH better. I wish I'd have bought these first and didn't waste my money on the CTX budget line.

I recommend spending a little more and get a good set the first time. Here is a good deal on CSX speakers and an amp.

Great speakers, ID never fails. You might want to look into a little better of an amp to bring out the best of these speakers. But the setup is good and you'll be happy with it.
