Can anyone spot check this OME Dakar 112R Leaf Pack I received? I think it's damaged.

New to truck stuff / suspension. Learning as I go.

Should I contact the vendor about this?

The plastic tabs are squashed, one of the metal tabs seems to be bent?

I'm not sure if that's normal, there's some paint chipping, etc.

Does this look normal? Is there something I'm missing here?

It only had bubble wrap on the ends of the leaf pack, not the middle.

Waiting on the other one via UPS. This one was also UPS, arrived today.

I see nothing of any real concern in your pics. At most, ask for a few replacement friction pads to replace however many ones with damaged tabs you have, but even at that, the ones you have will likely be fine.

You're overthinking this. They're leaf springs and they're fine.

You could slap some rattle can on there if you feel the need, but no reason too. They are nearly impossible to ship without getting scratched up. They are going to look WAY worse after a couple months on your vehicle. You're good to go.

There was a time when that would not be considered "normal".
But that time has passed. That's normal by todays standards.
Unless it affects the function of the product, it normal.

Thanks for the insight guys, I know I'm overthinking this stuff. I'm a newb with truck work (first tacoma, 3 months old), and it's a lot of money for me.

Just making sure! I spritzed some rustoleum on it, and might ask ARB for some friction pads for later on, but will be doing my install in a week or so!

Can report back with hilarious fuck up pics if desired, let me know what popcorn you eat while reading.
