Looked right at the line, when last serviced. Hasn't gone down much. Only fluid kinda low I can tell is the coolant.

Looks like very old engine oil. Or very dirty gear oil. Check your axle boot on that side. This was fun reading.

Not yet haha. I'll take it into the shop after the holidays and see what's up.

That is hardly worth taking to the shop for. Five minutes with a light and you'll be able to figure out whether it was your truck or someone else's.

Years ago I worked at a refinery. The President would often walk around and if he saw a liquid on the ground he would taste it. Actually he faked it to see what others would do. Well one of the "Ace" operators picked up the habit and would actually taste it.

An old operator went out and urinated on the ground in this guys area. there was nothing around that could leak. He calls the operator over and asks him what he thinks. Well Jamie reaches down and before he could be stopped into his mouth it went. Jamie always swore he didn't taste it. But those of him that knew him knew better. It earned him the nickname "Ole Yellow Hand".

On a more serious side, I've worked around liquids that if you taste it the best you can hope for is a serious chemical burn in your mouth. Others can be fatal in very small doses.
