Nothing at all. It sure as hell beats not having one. Its just not "my thing" personally. :)

hummm, they all seem like GREAT home defense, or even just defense, shot guns to me... :D I would not want a full fixed stock long barrel shotgun. I have shot them, and they just didn't seem that fun to me.

nothing, all stock expect got a OE replacement air filter K&N.
if it can hold many rounds then you should keep it but if it just holds standard rounds then forget it.

    Reasons not to:
    1) Dorky barret .50 style muzzle break
    2) Pistol grip (enjoy shooting that for any extended period of time)
    3) Tacticool black (enjoy the jury thinking your gun looks "dangerous")
    4) normal/stock magazine
    5) Heat shield, a la WW1 Trench gun
    6) no bayonet lug :D (if you're gonna copy the trench gun, do it right!)

LOL!! I gave my brother first dibs on it. its not expensive to make. Get a Mossberg 500, or 590, and the pistol grip, and heat shield, and your there. :)

so what are you going for? fun or home defense? I wouldnt think shooting an intruder that broke into your home would be fun...

yes, this gun would be fine for home defense, but probably not fun to shoot. recoil goes right into your hand and wrist.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    This thing is ridiculous.
The recoil is too much to handle with serious SD loads for that grip.
The muzzle brake is for people who don't know the diff btw 'badass' and functional.
    Stoopid.

^^ Nice 870, I Like that simple Clean look. Add a SpeedFeed stock with the pistol grip to it.
That Muzzle Break doesn't seem like it would help you shoot at night, If anything it might blind you.
