Can these two oil cooler ports be capped and clamped on an automatic radiator (which seems to be what's mostly available on the market and I am unable to find an exclusively manual one that doesn't have them, like my old one) so that it can be used on a manual?

If not, do you know a web store where I can order a specifically manual one, Google didn't help me much? E.g. everything at RockAuto (my preferred store and where I got this) is automatic. I was unaware that automatic and manual had different rads. It is DENSO 2213139.

Yes. You don't have to use them. In fact you can use them as a heat exchanger in an onboard hot water project. Very useful IMO.

If you're not going to use them, just use some rubber caps on them.

you mean they are not pressurized if not used? they came with some low duty caps on them that look they're there just to keep dust out (see picture)

That "transmission cooler" is just a tube running in and out of the radiator. If you just ignore it all will be well. I'm sort of surprised that there is any such thing as a 'manual radiator' as a radiator set up for an automatic could be used with either transmission.

My old one doesn't have those tube ports, i.e. it is more basic than this. I subsequently did some "home testing" (blowing in one of those ports) and determined the same thing you said, that they are not connected with the rest of the rad hydraulically. So yeah, it's all good.

    Thanks
