Well aware, but that wasn’t what I wanted. I get to choose how I spend my money, and that is what I did. Thanks.

I unfortunately fell into the same trap. I read a bunch of reviews before hand and saw that there was a mixed experience at best with customers. I called there "customer service" (The same guy with 3 different phone numbers and sole responder to 2 email addresses.) Before I purchased he told me the lead time would be 4-6 weeks due to a back log of orders needing to be fulfilled.

    Long story short,

Ordered in April 2018 for summer camping trips. I have 2 dogs, surf, skim, camp, snowboard etc so the flexibility was the seller for me.

Called after 4 weeks for an update, got the same run around about back log of orders yada yada.

Called or emailed basically every 2 weeks until I received the frame in late August. (in a box that was completely destroyed during shipping and had pieces falling out on my porch when I received it).

I continued calling or emailing every 2 weeks or so for an update on the canvas and beginning in September 2018 he started explaining to me that they had to switch manufacturers for the canvas and were signing contracts so it was taking longer than expected... (No kidding.. 6 months after my order.. I didn't notice?)

Anyway I finally received my canvas October 23rd but didn't receive my cross bars or towers.(Which again was one of the key factors in purchasing this system over softopper or bestop.)

I spoke with the owner again in February and he said they had received the new style towers from the new manufacturer and had them "on the shelf" ready to ship and he would "have a tracking number" for me the next day.

I called him in early March and found all 3 numbers I had cancelled. Emailing the 2 customer service addresses gave me bounce backs ...

The website is still up and probably still getting orders which is pretty scummy. Maybe he just forgot to pay his bills?

Filled a dispute with my credit card company for the value of the towers and cross bars because we are now at the 1 year mark and I'm going to have to get something custom fabricated to get racks on this thing.

It's really unfortunate, I get compliments on it daily, it has so far held up excellent in rain and snow but this guy can't get his act together. I guess I should consider myself lucky for getting anything but grief out of this.

Weird update - their website is redirecting like a spam forward, I’m ultimately getting it to land on SoCal Honda dealers website, but it’s prompting a ton of pop ups. Be careful on the clicks!

Yeah, I don't see anything good coming of that. I'll keep the talk out in the world, but will see if we can squash the linking.
