Can Grid lines be removed from stock back up cam??

    My 2012 does not have those annoying grids. Are you aware of the Entune hidden diagnostic menus? Been a long time since Ive been in there so Im not sure if they have anything useful, but its worth a look. This thread is all I could ind with a quick search, but I think there are a few others too.

    If it were going to be an option, it would be in software somewhere I'd think. No reason they would run an extra wire all the way back to the camera that would add grids, and then not give you a switch somewhere to turn the grids off. Just doesnt make sense.. Plus I'd think the headunit would have way more processing power than the camera, keeping the camera small and cheap.

    I was not aware of this i tried it out and couldn’t figure any option to do what I’m looking todo. I just went ahead and upgraded the camera to a plug in play from camera source
