Can I achieve a similar lift in the TRD pro with this set up?

Thanks guys for answering all my newb questions. One more for you.

I want to achieve a similar lift that the TRD pro. I will be running stock tires but with a much better suspension. I THINK the TRD pro just has an inch lift. And I don't want anything more b/c anything more will look silly on stock tires.

This is what I will be getting:
    • King 2.5 Coilovers 25001-121
    • King 2.5 Shocks 25001-119-EXT
    • Icon AAL Kit 51100 <--- add 1.5 inches to the rear
    • SPC UCAs 25470
Will this set up get me what I want? (image for visibility)

    I'm considering the same thing.

For what you're looking for and what you're going to be spending...why not just get brand new TRD Pro Fox shocks? TW members have ordered a set for around $2800.

Edit: With what you've listed, you should be able to acheive the Pro stance with just the front coilovers (adjusted to your desired height) and not need the Icon AAL Kit 51100 or SPC arm. If you're going all out, might as well get the ECGS bushings installed too.

TRD Pro is an inch higher in the front. You can easily adjust the front kings to get the same lift setting.

The AAl in the back isn't necessary per se, but considering the quality of the OEM leafs, an extra bit of beef in the back wouldn't be terrible for camping trips, etc.

An inch on stock size tires wouldn't be too bad at all, but I would seriously recommend looking at aftermarket tires because of the woeful performance on all but pavement of the factory tires.

I think you'll be very happy with your additions.

But you can order Kings for ~1500 + 1000 F/R so you are saving or breaking even with upgraded shocks that are adjustable. Order from a place like accutune and you can even have them valved correctly which was the only real selling point of the pro shocks. ADS and Fox offerings comparable to the kings will likely get you better results vs the Pro Fox kit as well.

Yea, i hear you. I was going to get the TRD Pro Fox shock myself because of the simplicity of it but buying used has it's risk sometimes.
    Good call on accutune.

I mean, if you can buy a set from the parts department for a decent deal, they aren't a bad option. Just that there are better options for a comparable price point.

I’m able to get the 2.5 kings on all 4 wheels for less than that. So I rather just go with kings.

    Do it! :D
I'll be watching and see how it turns out...most likely going to follow as I've been debating doing the same thing. I'm planning to get the JBA UCAs.
